Press Kit
Weather Nerd is the weather app for people who actually read model data. Built for kiters, skiers, sailors, and anyone who needs more than a single-source forecast.
About
Most weather apps give you one blended forecast and ask you to trust it. Weather Nerd shows you the models themselves: pick the one that knows your terrain, compare them all side by side, and see exactly where they agree and where they don't. Forecasts come from Apple Weather for free users, with Pro unlocking model selection from the world's major weather agencies.
Model coverage spans the North American high-res nests and Europe's national models: AROME and ARPEGE in France, UKV in the UK, ICON-D2 and ICON-EU in Germany, ICON-CH1 and ICON-CH2 over the Alps, MET Nordic across Scandinavia, HARMONIE in Denmark and the Netherlands, and ICON-2I in Italy. The finest run at 1 km.
Weather Nerd is built by Adrian Corscadden, a solo developer in Canada working as Timko Labs Inc. Updates ship every few weeks, driven mostly by what users ask for.
